Jessica T. Laleh-Abramowitz is a partner at Koltun Lazar Laleh. Ms. Laleh has been with the firm since February 2010. Her primary concentration is in marital and family law litigation. Ms. Laleh has appellate law experience and has argued before the Third District Court of Appeal.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Laleh interned with two Florida appellate courts, working closely with the Honorable Mark E. Polen of the Fourth District Court of Appeal, and the Honorable Chief Judge Frank A. Shepherd of the Third District Court of Appeal. Ms. Laleh also worked as a Certified Legal Intern at the Dade Legal Aid Society.  While earning her Juris doctorate at the University of Miami School of Law, Ms. Laleh received Dean’s List recognition and was a member of the Charles C. Papy Moot Court Board, where she was awarded Best Brief and Outstanding Brief recognition while competing nationally.

Ms. Laleh has demonstrated her longstanding commitment to serving the community through public interest work and in 2012 was awarded the recognition of Young Lawyer of the Year. Ms. Laleh was previously on the board of Lawyers to the Rescue, which is an organization that volunteers at monthly legal clinics at Camillus House, offering pro bono assistance to the indigent.

She is a member of the First Family Law Inns of Court and has given presentations on the law to other lawyers and the judiciary. Ms. Laleh was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where she graduated magna cum laude from Stony Brook University in Long Island, prior to attending University of Miami School of Law. Ms. Laleh speaks fluent Russian and conversational Italian. She is admitted to practice in the state of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
