Scott Lazar is a partner with Koltun Lazar Laleh. Mr. Lazar attended the University of Florida and earned his B.S. with a major in telecommunication in 1990. He then received his J.D. from the University of Miami in 1993 where he was a member of the University of Miami Law Review.
Almost right out of law school, Mr. Lazar joined Mr. Koltun and since then he has been engaged in private practice primarily representing personal injury victims and individuals going through divorce. He has tried numerous jury trials during his career and has achieved verdicts in excess of one million dollars on behalf of his clients. In addition, he has tried numerous divorces involving high net worth individuals and complex custody and financial issues. Mr. Lazar has also handled appeals throughout the state on both family law and personal injury issues.
Mr. Lazar is a proud member of the Florida Justice Association which protects the rights of consumers and individuals in the Florida legislature. He also is a member of the Dade County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice throughout Florida and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Lazar is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator – Civil and is available to serve as a mediator for any type of personal injury claim (automobile accidents, slip and fall, product liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death, etc).
